Money packet printing, stop by stop

The Five-Stop Packet Route is the one every money packet order follows, whether it is 500 pieces for a small office or 5,000 for a regional team. Each stop has one thing you decide and one thing we do.

Stop 1, the artwork files

For custom money packets with your logo on every piece, the first job is getting a clean logo to us. Send a vector file, such as AI or SVG. If all you have is a JPG or PNG, we can trace it to vector for a small additional fee.

Customisation costs nothing extra. Your logo, contact details, a personalised greeting, a QR code, social media handles and colour or text adjustments are all included. The back panel can carry your logo, company name, website address, social icons, a QR code and contact details. Design revisions are included for three rounds.

Stop 2, the proof

You get a free online proof before anything is printed, and it normally reaches you within about 1 working day. Read it for placement and wording: is the logo centred, is the company name spelled right, does the greeting fit on the line.

The proof is for placement and wording; printed colour can differ from your screen by up to 5%, and we do not offer a colour proofing service. If your brand red has to match a Pantone reference exactly, say so before artwork approval, because Pantone printing is available at an extra cost.

Payment is 100% up front before production starts, with no instalment plans. Corporate accounts can arrange 70% upfront and 30% on delivery, but you need to email us before you order to set that up.

Stop 3, print, size and paper

Every money packet is 170mm tall and 82mm wide when closed, printed full colour on the front on 157gsm art paper. Soft-touch lamination, the velvety matte coating, is included in the base price. The packets are die-cut, folded and glued, then packed in an Opp bag.

How many designs to order

Each design has its own quantity, and the packing per pack changes with it.

RM 488 applies to the single-design row only. Two designs at 500 pieces each cost RM 976, and four and five designs start at much higher quantities. If you want to give different departments or client tiers their own packet, the multi-design rows are where to look.

Stop 4, finishing

Plain soft-touch is the baseline. Two upgrades sit on top of it. Spot UV is a glossy raised coating on chosen parts of the artwork, such as a logo or a motif, and it costs less than foil. Gold or silver stamping is metallic foil, the most premium finish we offer.

At 500 pieces, gold stamping adds RM 240 over the plain packet, and Spot UV adds RM 200.

There is also a Premium Box add-on, a 250gsm card box with gold or silver stamping, available from 1,000 pieces for a single design. It adds RM 495 at that tier. For Chinese New Year the box comes in red, gold or cream at the same price, and for Raya it is cream.

Stop 5, delivery

Delivery is free to West Malaysia. Once dispatched, parcels generally arrive in one to three business days.

When you enter a Sabah, Sarawak or Labuan address at checkout, the East Malaysia delivery charge is added automatically and shown before you pay. For a single design it is RM 60 at 500 pieces and RM 100 at 1,000 pieces. There is no courier to choose. Adding a Premium Box to an East Malaysia order has its own charge at checkout.

When to start for CNY and Raya 2027

Chinese New Year 2027 falls on Saturday 6 February, with the second day on Sunday 7 February. Hari Raya Aidilfitri is expected on Wednesday 10 March 2027, with the second day on Thursday 11 March. The Raya date is an estimate until the moon sighting and the official gazette, so treat it as around 10 March.

Our guidance is to confirm artwork 6 to 8 weeks before the festival, and the four weeks before each festival are the busiest of our year.

• Chinese New Year 2027: confirm artwork between 12 and 26 December 2026.
• Hari Raya 2027: confirm artwork between 13 and 27 January 2027.

The two festivals sit 32 days apart, about four and a half weeks. A company that needs ang pow printing for CNY and sampul raya printing for Raya should plan the two orders together, because the two artwork windows, 12 to 26 December 2026 and 13 to 27 January 2027, sit so close together.

Production is counted in working days, and public holidays fall inside these windows, so a packet approved on the last day of the window has less slack than the calendar suggests. Rush orders are available on request with no fixed rush fee; message us to check whether your date is possible.
