Corporate Table Calendars
A desk calendar is twelve months of brand recall
Published 27 October 2026 · By GiftAI
A corporate desk calendar keeps your name in front of one person for twelve months because they open it every day to check the date. Recall comes from three things: where your logo sits, a design people want to keep out, and arrival before the year starts. Corporate calendar printing at Gifthxs starts from 300 sets per design.
Many corporate gifts get one good day. The box is opened, someone says thank you, and the gift moves to a cupboard. A calendar gets opened again on the second of January, and again on the third, and keeps getting opened. That repeat exposure is the whole case for corporate calendar printing, and a calendar that gets binned in March delivers three months of the twelve.
Why a calendar outlasts almost every other gift
A pen runs dry and a tote bag ends up in the boot of a car, but a calendar has a job until December: telling someone the date and whether Friday is a public holiday.
The advertising specialty industry has been measuring this for years. ASI figures quoted on the Safeguard blog say 75% of people who have an advertising calendar can name the advertiser, and that 52% of promotional calendars are kept for a year or more. Those are American numbers from a promotional products body that sells to advertisers, so read them as a direction rather than a promise for a Malaysian office. People keep what they use, and a calendar gets used every working day.
Malaysia's calendar is crowded with dates that matter to everyone in the building. Chinese New Year 2027 falls on Saturday 6 February, and Hari Raya Aidilfitri is expected around 10 March. People look at their calendar to plan around those days. Your logo is there when they do.
The Desk Glance Test
Before you approve any calendar design, run it through what we call the Desk Glance Test. It has three questions, and a calendar needs a yes on all three.
Can the date be read from a metre away? Someone glancing across a desk will not pick up the calendar to find the 14th. If the numerals are small, light grey or fighting a busy illustration, they will stop looking and your logo goes with them.
Is your logo visible without winning the page? A logo the size of a billboard turns the calendar into an advertisement, and advertisements get recycled. A small, steady mark that is always present works better. We cover this in detail in logo placement on a corporate calendar.
Would you keep it out in February? By then the novelty is gone. If the design only earns its place in January, it will be in a drawer by Chinese New Year.
Do the arithmetic on a plain example. Someone who glances at their calendar three times on each working day, across roughly 250 working days, sees your logo about 750 times. That is an illustration, not a measured figure, but it shows why placement matters more than print run size. A calendar that sits on the desk for twelve months earns all 750 looks. One that is put away in March earns around 180.
What to put on the calendar, and where
Logo placement on our calendars follows the design, because the four designs are built differently.
Captured in Time and Malaysian Festive Wheel are turning wheel calendars with no monthly pages, so the logo goes on the front cover only. Journey Across Spaces and Seasons In Bloom have monthly pages, so the logo goes on every month. A mockup is sent for approval before anything is printed.
The two monthly page designs also let you set custom company dates into the calendar grid. That can be a public holiday, a campaign launch, a company anniversary or a client event. Custom dates give the reader a reason to check your page, and they find your brand next to something that matters to them. If you want the longer argument for that, see putting your brand on 365 days of a corporate calendar.
The four designs side by side
| Design | Format | Logo goes on | Custom company dates |
|---|---|---|---|
| Captured in Time | Turning wheel, screw-bound, die-cut 350gsm art card | Front cover only | No |
| Malaysian Festive Wheel | Turning wheel, screw-bound, die-cut 350gsm art card | Front cover only | No |
| Journey Across Spaces | A5 landscape (21cm x 14.8cm), Wire-O bound, 250gsm matte art card | Every monthly page | Yes |
| Seasons In Bloom | 22cm x 20.5cm, die-cut, 250gsm ivory card | Every monthly page | Yes |
If your goal is brand recall across twelve months, the monthly page designs do more work, because your logo appears with every flip and you can put your own dates in. The wheel designs suit a buyer who wants a keepsake on the desk at a lower price per set.
What corporate calendar printing costs at 300 to 2,000 sets
Table calendar printing in Malaysia is priced per design and per set, and the set price includes delivery within West Malaysia. The minimum is 300 sets per design, and designs cannot be mixed to reach that minimum.
| Design | 300 sets | 500 sets | 1,000 sets | 2,000 sets |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Captured in Time | RM 11.70 | RM 7.71 | RM 5.25 | RM 4.10 |
| Malaysian Festive Wheel | RM 11.70 | RM 7.71 | RM 5.25 | RM 4.10 |
| Journey Across Spaces | RM 16.90 | RM 11.90 | RM 7.90 | RM 6.20 |
| Seasons In Bloom | RM 16.90 | RM 11.90 | RM 7.20 | RM 5.90 |
All prices are per set. Every tier earns free bonus units, and the extras count inside the total. Order 300 calendars, get 50 extra free, 350 in total. At 500 sets you get 50 extra, so 550 in total. At 1,000 you get 100 extra, 1,100 in total, and at 2,000 you get 200 extra, 2,200 in total.
The curve is steep. Going from 300 to 500 sets on Journey Across Spaces drops the unit price from RM 16.90 to RM 11.90. If you have more recipients than you first counted, such as clients, suppliers and the second tier of your own staff, the larger tier is often the cheaper way to cover everyone.
Two kinds of order go through a custom order rather than checkout: anything delivered to East Malaysia, and anything above 2,000 sets. We quote those by location and quantity.
How long calendar printing takes
Calendars take 21 working days after logo approval. Working days exclude weekends and public holidays, so 21 working days is more than four weeks on the wall clock. For 2027 calendars delivered in December, the order needs to go in by November 2026.
A calendar that arrives on 15 January is a late gift. The full reasoning on dates sits in the 2027 calendar printing order window and the cut-off date, and if you are weighing suppliers right now, how to pick a calendar supplier without missing your December deadline covers the questions to ask.
How to brief a calendar printer
Send the logo as a vector file, such as AI or SVG. Tell the printer which design you want, how many sets, and whether you need your own dates on the grid, with the dates listed in plain text.
Settle who the calendar is for before you settle the design. For a short list of key clients, a monthly page design with your own dates on the grid does more work than a wheel design. If part of your list sits in East Malaysia, say so at the start, because that changes the route.
For a corporate order where the design is already built and you add your brand, you want a printer rather than a manufacturer. You can see all four designs and order through our calendar printing Malaysia page.
